With 23 years of sales experience under his belt, Michael Jessup, a business advisor for the SIU Small Business Development Center at Southern Illinois University, has honed his skills in guiding small businesses towards growth and development. He currently owns three companies and is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of starting a new venture. The SBDC employees people who specialize in specific niche areas of business in order to offer valuable support to business owners.

Michael was hands-on with his presentation today, demonstrating how when we do things on our own we aren’t near as strong as we are when we reach out for help. “When you stumble and you trip, use that as a lesson”. The SBDC helps businesses focus and move forward.
