Wade Bowlin, Vice President of Nutherm International, Inc., welcomed Jefferson County CEO for a business visit this morning. Nutherm was established in Mt. Vernon back in 1979. They are a supplier of Class 1E safety-related systems, assemblies, and components to nuclear utilities and Department of Energy sites.

The highlight of this visit, was being able to witness the earthquake simulator at work. Wade also gave some insight on another exciting business venture with bitcoin. The group was very inquisitive and intrigued by this portion of the visit.

Visits like today are so eye opening for these future entrepreneurs; visiting a business that prior to their CEO experience they didn’t even know existed in our community.
