This morning Jefferson County CEO was honored, and amazed, to have Chris Egleston in as a speaker. Chris is the Community Engagement Leader for Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship and spends most of his time visiting current CEO students and inspiring new communities to start up their own CEO programs.

Chris shared with the class how his passion for magic turned into a career as his entrepreneur mind found something he loved to do and turned it into profit. With some amazing magic tricks he conveyed many different communication and business lessons with the class. Chris expressed the importance of greeting people and explained how a smile, questioning (and then listening), hand shakes, and gathering contact information is essential to making a positive and long lasting impact on costumers.

Chris also gave the students some encouragement and tips for the trade show that is coming up next week. He taught them how to “open the circle” by using body language and speech. He taught them 3 C’s to remember this by.

➡️ CREATE a crowd
➡️ CONVEY a message
➡️ COLLECT cash!

He then finished off the morning with a few tips on presenting in front of a crowd and some more amazing magic 🪄

Thank you so much for coming to meet and inspire Jefferson County CEO, Chris!
