πŸŽ™οΈ Special Guest Speakers: Eric & Mark Black πŸŽ™οΈ

Today, the CEO Class of 2026 had the privilege of learning from brothers Eric and Mark Black β€” whose entrepreneurial roots run deep and who also serve as our Board Chair and Vice-Chair.

The theme of the day was Value. Both Eric and Mark emphasized that the lessons learned in CEO transcend business and apply to all areas of life, no matter the path students take after high school.

From pharmaceuticals to painting, both brothers have built successful businesses, proving that entrepreneurial skills are versatile and can be applied in many industries. Mark compared their journeys to the Game of Life β€” one choosing college, the other entering the workforce β€” showing there’s more than one road to success.

They challenged students to shift their focus from serving themselves to serving others, reminding us:
πŸ’‘ β€œIf you show value, you will get value.”
πŸ’‘ β€œWhat you give is what you get.”

The discussion also highlighted professionalism β€” built on skills, knowledge, and attitude β€” and encouraged students to reflect on the question: β€œWhat does a life well lived look like?”

As board members, Eric and Mark stressed that the CEO journey is transformational β€” but like anything in life, you get out of it what you put in. Our students are already laying a strong foundation and showing great promise as they begin their entrepreneurial journey.
