💵 Financial Foundations in Action!

This week, the Jefferson County CEO class welcomed Matt Hefley of Hefley & Associates, who also serves as the Treasurer of our CEO Board. Matt guided the class through an in-depth discussion and hands-on lesson on financial management for their class business.

Students worked alongside him to dissect their budget, gaining hands-on understanding of key accounting principles — from the Balance Sheet (Assets – Liabilities = Equity) to the Profit & Loss Statement (Revenue – Expenses = Profit).
