Over the past two days, our CEO team had the opportunity to visit all four Jefferson County high schools to kick off recruitment for the Class of 2027.
These visits give interested students the chance to hear directly from this year’s CEO class about what the program is really like. From creating and operating a class business, to being paired with a personal mentor, to launching their own individual business, CEO is a hands on experience unlike any other. Add in weekly business visits and guest speakers, and it is easy to see why this program makes such a lasting impact.
In between school visits, it only seemed fitting to stop for lunch at Twisted Twins, a local business owned by two of our CEO alumni. Seeing former CEO students building successful businesses right here in our community is a powerful reminder of how the program continues to grow leaders and strengthen local entrepreneurship.
Recruitment is one of our favorite parts of the year. We love seeing the next group of future leaders and entrepreneurs step forward and recognize their own potential.
Applications for the Class of 2027 are due March 1st.
