Today was Mentor Day for Jefferson County CEO and the energy in the room was incredible!

Our mentors and mentees jumped into a fast paced speed pitching exercise that pushed our young entrepreneurs to clearly communicate their business ideas in a short amount of time. ⏱️ Round after round, they refined their message, strengthened their confidence, and learned how to make every second count. 💬

As they continue developing their personal businesses, this skill is essential. Whether they are talking to a customer, investor, or community partner, being able to deliver a concise and compelling pitch matters.

We are also gearing up for the upcoming MIE National Pitch Competition, and experiences like today are building the foundation they need to compete with confidence on a bigger stage. 🏆

We are so grateful for our mentors. The value they bring to the table through their real world experience, honest feedback, and willingness to invest time in our students is unmatched. Their expertise challenges our students to think deeper, work harder, and aim higher.

This program thrives because of the partnership between students and the incredible business leaders who choose to pour into them. We are thankful for each one. 🤝
