What a strong start to our CEO year! π
This morning, we officially kicked off the CEO experience and began laying the foundation for the year ahead. Students were introduced to the legacy of Craig Lindvahl and what his vision means to the CEO program, including one of the concepts weβll come back to throughout the year: Produce the WOW!
We also spent time reflecting on where we are today and identifying areas where each student hopes to grow throughout the CEO experience. Our Show & Tell activity gave us a fun way to make personal connections, share a little about ourselves, and begin getting to know one another beyond the classroom. We challenged comfort zones right out of the gates which is what produces personal growth. πͺ΄
We also want to highlight our incredible partnership with Rend Lake College. RLC not only provides our students with the opportunity to earn dual credit hours that can help them work toward a certificate in entrepreneurship, but also provides us with a dedicated space to call home on our class days. We are incredibly grateful for their continued investment in Jefferson County CEO and our students!
Hereβs a fun fact about the Jefferson County CEO Class of 2027: Five of our current students have siblings who have previously gone through the Jefferson County CEO program! That is something worth celebrating and a testament to the legacy CEO continues to build within families and throughout Jefferson County.
We are excited for the year ahead! Weβll spend the rest of this week digging deeper into what it means to be a CEO student, building relationships, setting expectations, and preparing for an experience that will challenge, inspire, and grow each of these young people.
Hereβs to the beginning of another great CEO year! πΌ
