Craig Lindvahl was the architect of the CEO program and the first Executive Director of the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship. Throughout his career in education, entrepreneurship, music, film, sports and business, Craig collected lessons learned from his own experiences and from the many successful people he encountered along the way. Those lessons eventually became this book.
And it’s much more than a book our students will simply read and put on a shelf.
Throughout the CEO year, we will use Craig’s lessons to connect what our young entrepreneurs are experiencing through guest speakers, business visits, team projects, relationship building, leadership opportunities, successes and even failures. The goal is to help them recognize that so much of what they are learning through CEO applies far beyond entrepreneurship.
Craig believed successful living comes from understanding a few essential truths, and his book was designed as something readers can return to again and again throughout life.
Our students will leave CEO with plenty of lessons about business, but some of the most important lessons they gain will be about people, relationships, responsibility, leadership and life.
