π‘ A Big Decision + An Unexpected Guest! π
Today was a big day for our Jefferson County CEO young entrepreneurs! As they worked to narrow two strong concepts down to one class business venture, a quiet guest slipped into the back of the room. At first, they had no idea who he was.
That guest was Jeff Haarmann, one of the key stakeholders who helped bring CEO to Jefferson County and someone who has worn just about every CEO hat over the years: Board Chair, investor, mentor, guest speaker, business visit host, and longtime supporter of the program.
Jeff quietly listened to their discussion before offering thoughtful questions, valuable perspective, and insight that challenged them to think a little deeper and a whole lot bigger. By the time our morning wrapped up, our young entrepreneurs definitely knew who Jeff was and understood the value of having experienced business and community leaders in their corner. π
