Today Jefferson County CEO visited three different manufacturing facilities operated by the Gilster-Mary Lee, Corporation. We were given an exclusive tour by President Tom Welge where we got an up close look at how they manufacture various private label food brands including the breading for Chick-Fil-A sandwiches. This is just another example of the amazing opportunities that CEO students have to learn from some of the best in the business right here in our area. The students even got a lesson on who Popeye is while visiting Chester.
