About Me
Hello, I’m Lexy Knox. I’m an 18 year old senior at Woodlawn High School. My parents are Matt and Leslie Knox. During my high school years, I’ve been involved in many clubs including Student Council, National Honors Society, and FCA. In addition, I’ve participated in softball for four years, basketball for two years, and cheerleading for two years. Being in the Jefferson County CEO program my senior year has prepared me for my future in more ways than one. It has taught me skills no other class would be able to. I have started a social media marketing company that I plan to make into a career. Upon graduation, I plan to attend Missouri State University where I have decided on majoring in marketing and web development.

Scoop is a double platform business offering social media management and graphic design. The mission of Scoop is to help small business owners in Jefferson County by advertising their business on social media and designing logos for them. I will be selling my ability to create, build, and manage the business’s different social media sites as well as my ability to design flyers, business cards, and other advertisements for local businesses. Scoop is targeting business owners around Mt. Vernon who are either too busy, technically challenged, or both. Scoop is set up to help smaller businesses in Jefferson County. Larger marketing companies can cost a lot of money and may not be affordable for the small businesses. Scoop’s prices are set to be affordable for anyone in the area.
